Flight 009

5x7 Postcard

This piece is an oil painting of a photograph I took in New York City of some fresh produce in Chinatown. I was struck by the amount of color spilling on to the street and how it is a sign of life we don't see very often in American life.

As an Indian-American artist here in Austin, I really appreciate OFCOLOR creating spaces for communities to celebrate and share their cultures. They understand what community looks like and what it takes to build one. Outside of working with OFCOLOR over the years, I am first and foremost a fan of their work! :)
