What is Black Art AirWays?

Black Art AirWays is a two-day experience designed to uplift and celebrate Black creatives across disciplines. Curated by _OFCOLOR, this event blends art, music, and storytelling in an immersive, interactive format that honors creativity, community, and connection.

Interactive Passport Experience

Each guest receives a Black Art AirWays Passport Booklet at check-in. Earn stamps by attending talks, installations, and booths throughout the weekend.

David Michael Wyatt is making waves with his velvet voice and deeply soulful sound.
A Texarkana native now based in Houston, Wyatt blends gospel roots with R&B finesse, crafting music that heals, uplifts, and resonates. A Berklee College of Music alum, he’s earned national attention through NBA 2K, an Apple commercial during the NBA Finals, and appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live—all while staying grounded as an independent artist. From singing in church to collaborating with artists like Tobe Nwigwe, Wyatt’s journey reflects resilience, passion, and the power of music to move hearts.

Black Art WKND is a vibrant event held in Austin, Texas, celebrating diverse Black artistry. Hosted by _OFCOLOR, this annual event spotlights Black artists across different styles and mediums. With bold themes the event embraces the variety within Black culture through art, food, fashion, and performances. Created by RuDi Devino, Steven Hatchett, and Tobar Rodriguez, the weekend fosters community, pride, and self-expression while creating opportunities for Black creatives in Austin.
