MORE is a play on the Hindi word “Mor” which means Peacock. The woman is dressed in her watercolor lehenga with wild hair made of peacock feathers. I’ve always had an affinity for peacocks, chasing them since I was a child. The hidden eyes in peacock feathers sparkling, meeting my gaze. In a sense it is a self portrait, reflecting on my relationship with my wild hair as a child and colorfulness that was always “too much” but with growth and self love I am able to see it as simple “more”.
