Kali is one of the most complex and potent symbols of feminine power, destruction, transformation, and fierce protection in Hinduism. My choice to center my artwork on Kali is a reflection of my engagement with both my heritage, culture and the broader dialogue on femininity. In Kali I find a powerful fierceness and passion. In this artwork I have included Bengali words that invoke emotions.
